Will I get better pictures with a 105mm Micro Nikkor 55 mm compared with a kit lens-18 with a close-up filter?
Right now my photo macro with a macro lens Hoya 4 is not really as strong as I would. Maybe it's because I'm doing something wrong or might be the computer? Any advice or recommendations are welcome!
100% – …! IF The Nikon 105 macro lens is a very strong field and flat. Any single mm focal length is far more sharper than any zoom. Government lenses, a focal length that do not have to come many obstacles are in the zoom, of any length -. We, as consumers lower end, in fact never see the "damage" zoom is doing to our images to attach a first – lens and shoot some of the same scenes more. Almost makes you want to mourn and capture pull the car window, however, like many other things, put up with it because they are about as "useful" and allow our physical burden much lighter. The complement of "filters" to close the picture are marginal at best. To say that no work would be a lie, but how well ..? Adding a new layer of glass in front of a zoom only compounds the problem in both levels and increases horrible. Yes by all means get the macro 105. The 60 mm 2.8 is good too, but sometimes I find myself in my own light, which is fairly short. 120 but I have a macro is a lofty goal specialized, with built in ring light and power and not too "happy hunting ground" for what is left at home – set fire …. kit lens are generally not the lenses the company's business. Any company .. and offer them a "good" camera to sweeten the deal. This is a starter lens, as a parlor car. Not what you want, but it will, for now. Your choice is good on a target. It will make an excellent close-up 1:1 (real) well as being a general purpose lens, though a little TV, in many cases. Good luck .. Remember, the best camera for $ 5,000 will not look better after the lenses it faces and a $ 500 camera is the same. The only thing to do and actually "take" the picture is your goal … Bob – Tucson
