I am upgrading from a nikon d3000 and I don’t know what camera to get? help me please!!!!!!!?
Hi okay I have a Nikon d3000 and I am so used to it and I’ve had it like since it came out so I really want to upgrade and I hate the 18-55mm lens /the 18-105 because I don’t like zoom lenses since I mainly do portraits of myself and stuff okay so I found the Nikon d90 with a 16-85mm lens (nikkor) and I don’t know if I should get it? I know the d5000 is the d90′s younger version or w/e but the d90 has more features and I like that so I can grow with the camera and get into like some of the stuff that’s on the pro cameras. Or should I go with the d7000? I can’t really find it online without the 18-105 lens though. I would kinda like to go to Canon just to try them out because my dad used to have a Canon slr and he loves it but I love Nikon so yeah I’m lost. Anyways I really want to upgrade and I can’t decide between the Canon 60d and the Nikon d90 with the 16-85mm lens so PLEASE HELP ME…………………………………………………………………….
What will an upgrade do for you that the D3000 won’t? Yes, you will have more autofocus lens options. Which lens is it you need that won’t autofocus on the D3000? If you are doing self portraits from a tripod, the 18-105 has that focal length covered. The 50mm f/1.8 won’t autofocus on the D3000, but the 50mm f/1.4G will. Also there is a new “normal” lens, the 35mm f/1.8G if you want a somewhat wider angle.
I know you have not, like, asked for a grammar critique, but coming across as a reasonably articulate and intelligent asker will probably get you better responses from the community. So, yeah.
