Which is better, Nikon D5000 or D90?
I'm thinking of buying a digital SLR camera. Now I can not decide between D90 and D5000. My budget is less than $ 1200. 1. Which one would be the best option? D90 18-105mm lens or D5000-55mm lens 18-200mm lens and 55? If you have any other recommendations, please tell me! And one more question. 2. I have a film SLR. And it has a 28-100mm Nikkor lens. "I can also use it to DSLR?
The Nikon D90 and D5000 take pictures of the same quality, because they share many of the internal components between them. The main difference between them is that the D90 has an autofocus motor incorporated into the body, while the D5000 is not, and of course the D90 is more technical specifications of the components and features. Depending on the model you have the Nikkor 23-100mm lens that may or may not autofocus with the D90. Definitely not autofocus with the D5000. What we have to remember about wearing lenses 35 mm greater with D90 or D5000 is to multiply the focal length of 1.5 as the sensor is smaller than the original 35 mm film. What this means is that 18-200mm lens on the D90 would become a 27-300mm lens. Check out the second link in a table of compatible Nikon lenses and bodies. The first link is a major review of the D90. Check out the last link of the best prices I could find for the D90. $ 865.00 for body only, $ 974.00 with Nikon 18-55mm f / 3.5 to 5.6 AF-S DX ED II Lens $ 1,109.00 Nikon 18-105mm VR Lens, and $ 1,137.00 with 18-55mm Nikon AF-S DX ED II AF 55-200mm f/4.0-5.6 -S DX Lens. Another option is to purchase D90 body ($ 865.00) and buy a third party lens like the Tamron Zoom Super Wide Angle 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro $ 254.00 – total body and the objective would be $ 1,119.00. I think there is a $ 60.00 mail in check (last link below) for the Tamron lens until the end of December. All prices quoted includes free shipping camerakings.com. You can always sell the old SLR with the aim of trying to recoup some of their investment in the D90.
