Basics of photography?
Does anyone know of a site or something I could learn. my dads been in photography all his life and his state carried out on me. more or less confused in most of the things I am, but I know little things. I have been shotting with a Nikon Coolpix 4500 and Canon 20D
I can not imagine anyone better to teach that the photograph of his father – and their classes are free. I now realize that having a good camera (Canon 20D) makes no difference if you're on your own word or idea. The first lesson has to start from very basic. I did the same for a friend and my nephew and now know exactly how opening is related to the depth of field (and so on). The first day or even use your digital SLR camera. I showed my Nikon FM2 (which is a movie camera – and is a fully manual camera – everything has to be adjusted), and play with, basically, for the whole day until they learned what all controls and dials were. You can succeed if both (teacher and student, I mean) are patience. If you want to know everything a day – just not going to happen – and certainly can not teach everything you know on any given day. It takes time (like learning to play the piano) – but with practice, you will be very please with the results-in time.
