Nikon DX crop factor?!?
Hello, all glass! I have a Nikon D60, and am looking for a new (old). I'm looking at Nikon E-series of 1980s. I have the 50mm now, and I love it. But what is the crop factor of these 35mm lenses with my Nikon DX format sensor? With the goal after lengths focus, what can I expect in terms of focal length with my D60?-28mm-35mm-50mm-100mm-135mm Thanks in advance!
Like what everyone he said, the crop factor is 1.5 DX. So multiply any focal length in 35mm format and get the focal length on DX. Is likely to be aware of this already, but measurement does not work with the objectives of the E series. The camera will not stop even when mounted below them. I know because I use a D80 and a little sharpening old manual AI / AI-S. Depending on what you shoot, This may or may not be a problem, but should be considered. Nikon D200 and above meters with the E-series lenses, if you have money to spend.
