Will this work well together and tele lens?

I have the Nikkor 70-200mm f / 2.8 G ED-IF AF-S VR Lens. I am looking to get twice the length that for sports by adding a 2x teleconverter. The loss of two diaphragms is not really a problem, as I throw everything in the bright light. That work ok with the Nikon lens AF-S Teleconverter TC-20E II? I know it's the older model, but I was trying not to spend a great deal since I can not really pay $ 600 for AF-S Teleconverter TC-20E III right now. Is this teleconverter work well with this goal? No thanks, I know they will work together, I just wanted to say, as would be a good match quality wise and how well it would work

Did you go to the website to see what Nikon lenses Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-20E II. A list of compatible lenses there.
