70 300mm f 4-5.6 nikkor
the lens is decent, Nikkor 70-300G or Tamron 70-300 LD Macro?

I'm thinking about adding a zoom lens on my Nikon D80 cost, but I'm stuck in the choice of these two lenses: Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G "and" Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 LD Macro. " Part of me is inclined to Nikkor by name and quality optical and one is inclined to Macro Tamron. I'm on Tamron only by the macro. To suggest how much they valued and worthy to choose instead of Nikkor Tamron. please also provide the link if any provision as regards the comparison between these objectives and sample pictures. Thanks

First Instead, the Tamron 70-300mm macro lens is not real. You can have the close focus capability, but all it is. A true macro lens is always a prime number (length fixed focus, no zoom) lens and give a true 1:01 (size) reproduction ratio. About the best that one can zoom close focus is a relationship Play 1:4 (quarter size). nikon 70-300mm close focusing distance of 4'-6''con a 1:4 reproduction ratio. $ 479.95. Tamron 70-300mm close focusing distance of 4 '11''with a 1:4 reproduction ratio. $ 399.00 after $ 50.00 mail-in rebate. Offer rebate ends 04/30/2011. F2.8G ED Nikon 60mm macro lens with 1:1 reproduction ratio, $ 559.95. Above prices for B & H – http://www.bhphotovideo.com
