Best type of 50mm lens for a D90?
Hey, I'm buying a Nikon D90 body in the coming weeks and would like to start live music shot with a 50mm Nikkor lens, I get a 1.4 for low light situations, but on ebay there are a few different types of Nikkor 50mm For example, Nikon Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.4 D 50 Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 G So im guessing is an older model and a new one? what you suggest for a d90? Buy redesigned AF-S. Despite having the largest lens D, I'm thinking of buying the lens G. The bokeh good round away very quickly with the lens D. G Lens has a "road" point of view, because the new design of the aperture blades. If you look at http://www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/3211500795/ see what I mean. The two shots in the top row are the 50mm f/1.4 D lens The left is open. On the right is only 2.8 and the "circles" and seven-sided display. The lens consists of nine G aperture blades and form are such circles to keep looking around. Not to mention, the AF-S probably self-centered a little faster (not that D is slow) and it really should be quiet (not that D is strong …).
