Can I buy Nikkor lens and use it on my Nikkon P5100 Compact Camera?
I’m planning to buy P5100.
I’m just wondering if i can use a lens bought separately (AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D) on the P5100 camera?
Can it fit?
Will I be able to change the Aperture/shutter using the lens?
I been using an old Compact Camera for the past year & thinking of getting P5100.

No you can’t change the lense on a camera like that. You will need to buy a different camera if you’re not happy with the lens your camera has.
The seperate lenses are made for cameras like SLR, and not “point-and-shoot” cameras.
