what is the best digital camera to buy with $240?
i have [had] a Canon Powershot SD600 ELPH
that i got for Christmas of ’06.
it’s a good little camera & it’s really compact & it was just good quality.
i don’t know how much it cost, i’m guessin from the 200-300 dollar range from walmart.
unfortunately – now it’s been stolen.
i MUST have a camera by Sunday morning, &
i will have $240 to buy a new one from walmart
Saturday.
what’s a good brand to get?
i could just get another Canon because those are like super good quality.
that’s what i’m planning on doing,
or maybe one of the coolpix things that has ashton kutcher in the commercials?
what i really really want is a Olympus Stylus 850 SW 8.0 megapixel -
but at the online walmart they’re about $260.
& i might not have enough for it.
if you know of a good quality camera i can buy from walmart [they're cheaper there]

The newer one, the SD1100 is newer and has more megapixels, but the lens isn’t as wide:

A wider lens just means you can get more in the picture at a time.
