Why does Canon and Nikon D-SLR so popular?
As a person who has no allegiance to any particular brand, I think that dominates their participation digital market a bit intriguing. I understand Nikon and Canon have dominated the movie scene for many years, but I can not understand why still such a large audience in a digital format. The design houses are built as film cameras that take place to store digitally, like being in the format 3:2, and such. Other companies are moving to a more user-friendly computer ratio of 4:3, and the creation of digital cameras from zero to adapt to its effects. It seems to me that if someone wanted to shoot digitally, they want to shoot with a camera made specifically to do just that, right? I'm not attacks Canon and Nikon (I have a Canon and Nikon film SLR), but I do not understand. Is it because all these photographers who used to shoot the film are familiar Canon and Nikon with the feel, and do not want to buy new glasses, or is it because they still have the best product?
They are the best product for the price. People become "Loyal" to some firms are already accustomed to the brand. This is especially true of electronics and automobiles. Some people do not buy anything Chevy but because of how it's done, where done, and past experience. I personally would not choose a Chevy but … Look at MP3 players, Apple iPod offers the best bang for your buck, and has not been surpassed by any other manufacture of MP3! Sure, you could receive a Panasonic Leica expensive or cheap … but how going to be comfortable with your purchase? This is how I see it.
