the camera should I get? Canon or Nikon?
Should I get the Nikon Coolpix S550 10MP Digital Camera or Canon PowerShot 8.0MP Digital Camera's (SD1100IS)? What is your opinion?
I would say Nikon. I try to read the reviews a bit and then move on. U.S. I point and shoot, but my friends do. They do tend to favor the Nikon over Canon, the quality of construction, as well as robustness. Out of the box, Canon and more saturated bright colors, while on a Nikon have to set that as your preference. Once done, the Nikon are usually better. If you can afford it, I suggest a camera DSLR though. More control, more images, and you become a better photographer.
