I have a Nikon 5700 coolpix digital camera. Screen shows ‘egg timer’ and ‘buffer full’. how to clear buffer?
the ‘egg timer’ is shown in the manual as depicting the buffer full, but it does not tell you what the buffer is, or how to clear it. Anybody help?
You don’t have to do anything because the buffer clears itself.
The buffer is the camera’s internal memory that temporary stores the photo until it can be written to be memory card. The buffer fills up when a series of photos are taken quickly one after another, and the photos can not be written to the memory card fast enough. The buffer is emptied as the last photo is written to the memory card.
