I have no experience with the L110, but I have experience with the previous version, L100. I loved my L100 and I think it's good if you are starting with photography, but you have to update a digital SLR soon. I had the L100 for 6 months and I felt like I had grown out of the camera. So if you can not afford a digital SLR in this moment, and then go buy the L110.
