Nikon Coolpix Video Encoding Apple Format?
Hi. I have a nikon coolpix 4100 camera, that i take video with. Unfourtuneately, i have a windows computer without apple suitable format software to edit (windows movie maker i am using) and well i can not use any of the videos i take. Is there a way that i can make the camera encode in Windows format, not in apple, so I don’t have to use a transferer? They don’t even work that good the buyable transfer software.

Unfortunately, the camera can only record videos in the format that’s preset by Nikon. However, you can convert the video after you’ve downloaded it to the computer. Here’s a good website to find guide & utilities to convert video from/to various formats – http://www.videohelp.com/convert
