Please tell me the technical reviews for Nikon Coolpix P80. 'Ll I brought it home and finish the tour?
Need more information about performance zoom, flash and noise.
Well the specs are pretty nice … 18x optical zoom is impressive for what should have no problem you want to shoot anything while on tour. The zoom is one of the longest of all SLR-like P & S cameras. Flash is good for 28 feet (8.8m) … Most P & S cameras reach 10 feet or less above. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=nikon_cpp80&show=all noise at high ISO, 1600 or declined coverage in 3200 pixels, 6400 at 3 megapixels is much less than the old digital cameras with sensors the size of P & S, due to new analog to digital conversion of the control algorithms by the new EXPEED image processor, but it will never match the quality of a $ 470 Nikon D40 (which comes with a 18-55mm lens … not near the end of the P80). The size of the D40 sensor is almost 15 times larger, so the noise at high ISO is going to be much lower. Take one of our SD cards in a store that sells the P80 and do a test in 1600, 3200 and ISO 6400 and take home the card and see those images on the computer screen. See how the effects of noise your images in actual use. We used to have a saying when we rolled Tir-X @ 2400 ISO. Best to get the shot and deal with the grain, which have a shot almost from nothing grainless
