My Nikon Coolpix S230 touchscreen stopped working?
A week ago I was on vacation and I was taking pictures, and I went to my pictures to delete some old ones, and my touchscreen was unresponsive! I hadn’t dropped it that day, and the most recent time I had dropped it before that was about a week before that and it was only about a two inch drop. Well, I am very dissapointed because I loved that camera and I had only had it for less than a year… and it wasn’t that cheap. I’ve tried everything to fix it.. like turning it off and on, removing the battery, charging it, you name it. Is there anything I can do? Or if I have to, how do I send it to Nikon to get fixed, and how much will it cost? Thanks 
I’m afraid I have heard that same problem quite often now – I’d never buy a touchscreen camera for that reason.
Sadly, getting a small P&S fixed seems to never be an economically sensible option.
Be careful if you’re getting a quote – you don’t want to end up paying a lot for THAT, too.
