Is it worth trying to fix a broken camera screen?
I accidentally broke the screen of my Nikon Coolpix S230. It cracked in the right side and the spread of crack through the screen, which is completely white with black spots everywhere. I have no guarantee for the camera well he bought two years ago. So would it be cheaper to order a new screen and setting it on my own, or just buy a new camera?
Jim – I'll second that warranty. Chances are spending just as much or more to get the LCD replaced. As would much more sense just to go out and get a new camera.
