I just ordered a "Nikon Coolpix S51 'in Rose seems like a good camera … but I've been seeing more and more comments about how bad they are … and if it is so bad … I just want to know not just open the package and return it …. DOEA nobody knows anything about this … Is not really that bad …. mention … I paid like $ 260 … and I see that now on behalf of more cheaper! : /
Many places charge a "replacement" rate. Check the store policy of return. If you add shipping and restocking fee can not be worth it to send it back and make it cheaper elsewhere. As to whether the camera is wrong or not, I suspect that many people who use cameras have no idea how to use them or have unrealistic expectations, so to blame to the camera for their own poor skills and unrealistic expectations. Take time to learn how to use the camera and you should get reasonably good results. For example, you can have people who want to take a picture with this camera in a noisy, crowded, poorly lit concert with people tripping over them. And then they wonder why your camera can not get a good shot. I suspect it is a good deal smarter than that.
