What is the best video editing software for my situation?
I'm traveling and I will take video and still photos with my Nikon Coolpix S550. (Video format. Avi) What I do is create a video a little look professional installation for all who come, including still images, background music and video clips with the text Introduction, story and ending / credits. I want your opinion on which software is easier to handle and makes the best video quality that incorporate the things you want to incorporate. I apologize I forgot to add that I have computers running Windows XP with … one with Vista 32 bit and Vista 64 bits.
Sony Vegas is pretty easy to learn, but is quite expensive. If you own a Mac comes with iMovie which is free and does a good job, his counterpart of Windows: Windows Movie Maker has had some improvement so it could do the job. I say you should only use free software (iMovie or Windows Movie Maker) that will do the job can still get a beautiful film, with which end up having to work harder to get what your looking for.
