What digital camera should I buy for the needs of real estate?

I work for three real estate agents and we are looking to buy a camera (not more than $ 350), which will have great pictures both outside and inside the home to include the pictures in our brochures and flyers home. Currently, we use a fairly old kodak and the biggest problem we have is with the interior photos – if a sunny day and try to take photos of a room to shed much light – pictures are usually very pale. We also have an interest in making virtual visits (I have a Nikon Coolpix and I know he Panoramic mode help to show a little of the previous photo you took so you can align the photos.) I was looking at the Canon PowerShot A700 and the Nikon P1, but I'm open to other suggestions – Thanks in advance for your help!

Too bad your budget precludes a digital SLR. I ran a search on www.dpreview.com with the following restrictions: Budget * <400 * zoom wider than 28 mm (you need that for indoor shots) I have 7 results. Of these, the best suitable camera was above budget (Coolpix 8400) and one house had 4MP (FinePix E500). Of the remaining five cameras, the Coolpix 5400 has an unacceptable distortion in the extreme width of the zoom and the PowerShot S70 has unacceptablr purple fringing. This leaves only 3 candidates: * Fujifilm FinePix E510 * Samsung Digimax A55W * Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 recommend Panasonic. Here's the review: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicfx01/
