Besides the obvious zoom capabilities, are there any advantages to the Nikkor 18-200vr over the 18-105vr and vice-versa.
Nope, just the zoom range and price.
18-105mm: $325
18-200mm: $620
The image quality, AF speed, vibration reduction, maximum aperture for low light capabilities/ shallow depth of field, the build quality, lack of weather sealing… all the rest is pretty much identical.
