D70s/d50 Nikon vs Canon EOS Rebel XT?
I'm looking at getting a cheap digital SLR. The two I'm looking at are the Nikon D70s, D50 and the Canon Rebel XT. I'm going to notice much or a difference between the Nikon 6 MP and 8 MP charges? And does anyone know a place where I can get one of these cameras at a relatively cheap? Also, if anyone knows of any othere like other cameras prices of these two, I'd like to know about them.
Pixels Affairs say something, but do not let the difference between 6MP and 8MP influence its decision unless it is the "tiebreaker". Get the one that feels best for you. ANY of these cameras is a great option. My wife has a D50 and I have a D70s and D200, so you can say there is not much to choose from the D70s over the D50 if the cost is important. Buy the D50 and get an "update" Lens (Nikon DX 18-70 f/3.5-4.5) instead of the plastic lens that comes with the kit. That's a smart choice.
