Why was the Nikon D80 Phased Out?
I am a fairly new photographer, I wanted a decent camera that was good for beginners and intermediate so I searched the Nikon and really liked the D80. At the time I really went to buy what I had to call around and finally found one in a Best Buy and was his last. I got it at a great discount, and realized he was no longer on the site BBY, and D80 is the other camera sites (Cameta Camera.) I still see it on Amazon, but why are the elimination of the D80?? Thanks for the great response fhotoace – another question, so basically the D80 was too similar to the D90 for what he did with it? I was worried that there might be something wrong with it. I also love how the D90 was much more expensive and the option to get the D80 is gone!
Technology is constantly changing .. gets closer to making full-frame cameras for beginners.
