SD-Card Nikon Coolpix S60?
hey .. I just bought the Nikon Coolpix S60, and I had bought a 8.0 GB SD card on ebay. What happens is that when I put the card into the camera, says "This card can not be used" But the thing is that it has allowed me to use the card a couple of times when I took it out and put it back soon?. Any idea what is happening and how I can fix this problem. I do not want to buy a new card, but may be that the card is not good, since it was $ 20 on eBay. PS-I already tried formatting it. Sometimes it works and sometimes dosent. Thanks … yes, so I'm not sure if it is genuine. The strange thing is working for my coolpix from time to time. And it works well with my moms camera? … So what's the deal with this thing. I'm just will end up buying a new 1 ….
Gee people, we have been warning people about buying memory cards on eBay. There are plenty of fake cards out there. http://reviews.ebay.ie/FAKE-SanDisk-Extreme-Compact-Flash-Cards-Exposed_W0QQugidZ10000000001456526 For less than $ 15 you can buy 2 GB cards when on sale. Unless that you are shooting with a camera that supports RAW, there's really no reason to have an oversized card. Especially in a chamber of P & S. Better to have a small number of cards and just carry a spare in your pocket.
