Get the book by Thom Hogan. I must admit I know nothing about any of these books, but I know reputation Thom Hogan is an authority on Nikon gear, it has a nice writing style and offers a lot of detail. books are always expected and according to fashion in the Nikon D80 has forums your guide does not disappoint.
