Why will not take my rechargables?

I have a nikon l100 and bought it b4, which came out with their new recharghables. I was told to buy and other Best comments would take the rechargables but the first time I try my mine my camera says they are out of power when fully charged. The same is true with them or not take rechargeable batteries?! And do not say that I will just buy the new Nikon batteries b / c it does not answer my question.

the cause of the batteries are made of. I can not take them, because batteries do not have enough alkaline in them full power of the camera
