The Nikon D40 is the camera here that give the greatest potential. It is a gateway to the vast system of Nikon. If you go to Ritzcameras.com, Adorama.com, or BHPhotovideo.com and the pursuit of objectives, you'll find many options for Nikon to Sony or Pentax. The slightly lower price of the D40 in the D60 will give you space memory card, a flash, or a beginning to another target.
