Is there any way to fix the light meter on a Nikon Nikkor-S Auto 50mm f/1.4 lens?
without somewher to be repaired? Nikkormat or a camera? It's a really old camera / lens.
If the camera meter is dysfunctional, or an electronic link between the lens and the body is dysfunctional, the repair can be expensive. A simple thing that could be the first attempt to change the battery in the body. If this does not work, try cleaning the lens contacts the body with a Q-tip moistened with alcohol, and then a dry Q-tip.
