I want my boyfriend to a digital camera that is as good as mine, can you help me choose one?

Mine is a Nikon Cool Pix 2000 camera. It has 2.0 million effective pixels, image. Size: 1,632 x 1,224 pixels 3x Full Zoom-Nikkor lens, f = 5.8 to 17.4 mm (equivalent 35 mm camera I formed to 38 – 114 mm) also what should I get?
