Nikon AF-S Nikkor 17-55mm f / 2.8 G IF lens?
I have a problem with the lens zoom ring is very difficult, I find it difficult to input capture and output is not smooth when Zoom In & Out, however, the focus is OK. Just wanted to know if it is normal or defective.
Do dampered feel, or if you feel like grinding? If it's grinding, then that's a problem. However, if I just had the 17-55mm Nikkor, I would have no complaint. That lens is a favor that you got there. Try taking it to the store you bought it and check out the other lenses to see if this is normal. If all else fails, just call Nikon. Hope this helps.
