The election of a new target for a Nikon D90.?
I'm ready to invest in a new lens for my Nikon D90 and I'm looking for some recommendations. Only own the kit lens that came with my camera, the 18-105mm and I realize now I want something that is longer or something larger. The Nikkor 70-200mm is out of my reach, so I've been watching him the nikon 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 or the 200mm VR II-70. I have not found much out there for wide-angle lenses, but I think that in 18 mm is still not wide enough for my taste. Some very good recommendations, thanks!
The 70-300mm is a good range, but depending on what triggers Opening limitations can be frustrating (if available to full, open up you'll get is f5.6 – this will limit the shutter speed a bit if the lighting conditions are at, considering raising the ISO, the D90 can take). This is the lens in "fast" (F2.8) is a benefit (but expensive). For wide ange, the Tokina 11-16mm is estimated to be good but not cheap! The Sigma 10-20mm is a good choice, cheaper than the Tokina and it gives good results. There are two versions – A constant and a variable f4 f3.5-5.6 (the cheapest).
