Nikon lens. . . (35mm f/1.8 AF-S DX)?
So my first question, I asked him about what I could achieve other goals for my nikon d6. Now I have the Nikkon AF-S 18-55mm lens and the AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm. and some said they should get the Nikon 35mm f/1.8 AF-S DX. But I'm confused. the 18-55mm lens I have, you can set it to 35 mm, so I really can not get it. I heard it's a good lens, so can someone explain the 35mm f/1.8 AF-S DX and the beauty of it. Thanks
Both the zoom lenses that are unique. 35 mm is a cousin which means that only has a focal length. f / 1.8 is the opening. So when you approach 35 mm in the 18-55mm can not lower the aperture of f / 1.8, since the lens is not able to. The lower you can go in your 18-55mm f / 3.5 to 18 mm is the focal length. Once begin the zoom can not use the f / 3.5 f / stops increasing. When you capture a 55 mm lower than can go is f / 5.6. AF-S autofocus = "wave silent motor "technology to use f/1.8 advantage is being able to take pictures in low light. When using a small aperture also have great depth of field that can give you clear the track and out of focus background. Take a look at some examples of what the 35 mm f / 1.8 is capable of. http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=nikon+35mm+f% 2F1.8 & m = tags & s = int
