I need a replacement for a Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 G II ED?
I was taking pictures with my Nikon D40 camera and I put it on a shelf in my room. my brother came running into my room to play the camera strap that hangs and the camera fell to the ground luckily only broke his camera lens and do not need a replacement lens may be different or the same, provided it is similar to the one I need one that is 18-55 mm've searched high and low and call almost all the stores in Connecticut, but can not find. The real problem is that i need to replace it on Sunday because I go on a family trip to Ireland. my question is in Connecticut, where I can find a store cameras that have a goal like this in action so you can do on Sunday. looking for a price of 150 to 200 thank you very much.
My opinion, not get 18-55 it used to have. The 18-70 is a better target, and is readily available on eBay at a very good as it used to be a kit lens with the Nikon D70.

Dear Sir,
My Nikkor 18 55mm Lens lock has broken and is not holding on the camera. Therefore, i would like to know wether i should change the lens or repair kit is availabe in the marekt to replace and mend the fault just by replacing the kit. Please let me know.
