Any suggestions for a good zoom lens for my Nikon D90? is the NIKKOR 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF good?

I dont want a big, heavy one and I like low apertures so preferably f/2.8 but i dont want to spend that much.

I think I like the AF Zoom-NIKKOR 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF but Im not sure since it has mixed reviews

I would consider it is a good lens for nikon d90
