Nikkor 300mm F 4 Lens

What Nikon lens should I get next?!?

I have a nikon d3000 and I have the kit lens 18-55mm I get another goal and I'm debating between these two nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor or Nikon Lens AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6G I guess I want to take more pictures and close-ups. But I also like shooting action and sports, along with landscapes and such.

That is two different directions. That shoots more often … portrait? or action / sports? Get the lens used later get the other lens. My 2 cents. :) Mark
