nikkor 35 70mm review
Wide Angle-Telephoto AF Zoom Nikkor 35-70mm f / 2.8?

I am using this lens on my D40 with the measurement matrix is not an AF D and although I am getting excellent results I wondered if I would see no difference at all measurement using the matrix if they were version D. I getting a lot of mixed reviews. I ask, just for curiosity. I put it on the D40 yesterday and really made a big difference not only in image quality, but the general feeling of the camera is more solid.

If my memory Nikon measurement is correct, you are still receiving the measurement matrix but not the 3D matrix metering. For 99.9% of situations, there is no difference whatsoever. In other words, you are very unlikely to see a difference in measurement. You may be more likely to see the difference in flash pictures in which they are trying to balance the backlight with the lighting of the main subject, because the flash / Camera needs the "D" of information, but other than that, I think we have a clear objective.
