Should I buy the new Nikkor 35mm 1.8F?
I have the Nikkor 50mm 1.8F, i shoot with a Nikon D80. I am considering selling my Nikkor 50 mm Nikkor 35mm 1.8F where i can fit more in a single shot. it is a wise balance??
I have the same dilemma. Since I have my nikon 50mm f / 1.8, I liked the ability to lower the ISO when shooting photos without flash. My 50 mm was a lifeline last week when I was taking some friends to local museums where flash is often prohibited. But I came back often and look forward to a further backup. The 50mm gave a view of 75 mm on my D200 and left me wanting a more wide. The change to my 18-200mm VR helped, but I'm the fastest opening and extremely slow shooting shutterspeeds. In the D80, 35 mm will give an angle of 53 mm of view. Not a true wide angle, but is a change that gives it 50 mm. And the price is very reasonble. Now if only there was a Nikon 24 mm 1.8 cheap ….
