Fuji S3 and Nikon professional goal?

I have a Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro, I get a good portrait lens that gives good background blur, and I've been told for a nikon 50mm f 1.4 and blames it on my camera I know sometimes it doesn't always work with the body (target) they told me to get an approach automatic, but what is the difference between s, d, I was looking for a Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 d does anyone know if that is compatible with my camera. something on foucs may not be compatible with the body? thanks for yoru help

You really need, but a good manual of your camera and read it. That's the way right to learn about complex camera.
