Lens question for Nikon D60?
I'm about to get the AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro Tamron for my Nikon D60 for several reasons. Go to replace my 4-5.6 nikkor 55-200 VR that I use now, mainly for high school sports and also just random things of others. It looks good because its cheap (or) that most others of its kind (at school, very low budget) or get a great start for the sport, you need not use all camera settings and a lot of editing for good football and basketball shots, and I know a lot of photographers that trust and Tamron lenses. I heard there are problems with the clarity of this objective when people are open to wide openings (4-2.8ish), and also problems with the autofocus (especially in times of darkness). Do any of you experienced heard of these problems? Would it be worth to achieve this goal by shooting (often at night, have grand opening)? Thank you very much.
