Will I be happy with my purchase of Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR Zoom Nikkor lens?
I have been using the lens that comes with the Nikon D40 kit initial someone suggested this lens … was a good choice for now?
Of course. My wife had a non-VR 55-200 with D50 and have a 55-200 VR and the difference is immediately obvious. The objective is probably about the same and if you were using a tripod with VR turned off, you probably can not see any difference. Virtual reality is a great advantage, however.
