macro lens for Nikon?
About 500 euros … I buy the Nikkor 60 mm f2, 8 or Tamron 90 mm 2.8 (or lenses of others? please suggest) clearly before all is well sorry to use a Nikon D300s
What camera body do you have? If the D3000, D3100 and D5000, D40, D50 or D60, none of these has a focus motor in the body, so I guess I could be looking at AF-S? In which case the 105mm f2.8 Nikkor 60 mm f2.8 or are your only options. If you are not too fussed about the manual focus (and its frequent use in macro work anyway), or have a different Nikon body, then you can consider other objectives. I use a Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro – this is the kind of shot you get with it; http://www.flickr.com/photos/deepbluephotography/3797607919/in/set-72157607997086637/ The longer the focal length, the greater working distance – 50 mm seems to be fine, but some prefer a 105 mm to get a little further from the field (to avoid scare them).
