Nikon D 70?
What is the best scenario for a nikon lens if I shot a case of high-end door at night all I have is 18 -135 dx and 70-300 VR Nikkor well im thinking that may end up just getting and sigma 70-200 2.8 if I love the 70-200 VR Nikkor 17-hhahah but if necessary, but if I have I really need to preserve housing
There is no one better fit. You have to adjust settings and lighting situation. If it were easy, the camera would have only a stage of "high-end night shots" In general, you want that much light as possible in order to use openings in general. Get your high ISO enough to get good shutter speeds at the opening you have selected. A loud shot is better than making blurred with little noise. Have a tripod for slow shutter speeds, to collect all the ambient light to the bottom. Flash can be useful – a SB-800 works best. The pop-up is not going to cut.
