how limited the selection of Nikon lenses D5000?
I plan on getting either the Nikon or T1i D5000 rebel canon. From what I gathered, I have Nikon intends to get the D5000, but have said the targeting is limited by a lack of compatibility with AF-I Nikkor lenses do not AF-s. Can D5000 Nikon lenses of other brands such as Tamron? and the camera do you recommend?

The D5000 along with other nikon models (D3000, D40, D40x, D60) do not have the autofocus motor built into the camera body what you want lenses are made to allow the capacity Nikon AF these and the list of lenses is growing.
