Have you heard of the factor of 1.5x for Nikon lenses?
What is the factor of 1.5 X? Does that mean AF Nikkor lenses work Nikon SLR better with more recent?
I use DX cameras (Nikon D50, D70, D200 and) to all targets that use is an effective focal length 1.5 times the number (s) marked on the lens. That works for existing DX lenses, lenses FX, and the legacy of my old Nikon lens 35 mm SLR. To clarify the excellent previous response Nikon FX and DX lenses currently doing. All are mounted and the current meter on any nikon digital slr. The FX lenses are fully compatible with all Nikon so the optical coverage. They are designed for digital sensors for full-size (FX) and work is in the DX cameras. DX lenses are designed and optimized for DX cameras. That will work perfectly on Nikon DX, but bullet (cut) edges of the image on FX cameras. The exception would be a zoom DX extended to its maximum focal length. (For example, injection of 18-55mm to 55mm).
