How is that my non-autofocus lens?
I bought the Nikon Nikkor AF 50mm 1.8D for my D3000 is only manual focus but says it is autofocus and manual, there is a switch from AF l MF. My 35mm has but not this one.
Do not read that ONLY AF-S self-focus Nikon DSLR entry level? In order to keep the price of the D3000, D3100 and D5000 of less than $ 1,000, no motor autofocus cameras. This means that only AF-S and AF-I can be used in auto focus mode, as they have autofocus motors in the lenses. This makes AF-S focus very fast machine. Either return the AF 50 mm F/1.8 and buy a AF-S 50 mm f/1.4 or learn to focus manually with the built-in electronic rangefinder This and is in the manual
