Can anyone tell me what these lenses fit the camera?
I am looking to buy a digital SLR camera Nikon. (Not sure which is the model yet. Any of the D40, D50, D70 and D100, at 6 MP camera is a lot of MW at present.) So, I found a very good treatment, 5 lenses. My question is, Will they be compatible with a digital SLR? And these good lenses? Here is a list of lenses I am looking to buy. Quanatary 28mm f2.8 Nikkor-S Auto 35mm f2.8 Nippon Kogaku Nikkor-H Auto 50mm f2 Nikkor Nippon Kogaku Nikkor-S Auto 50mm f1.4 Auto-HC 50mm f2 lens quick response would be greatly appreciated since I have to make a decision soon! Hello, some of these lenses can physically attach a nikon digital slr, but do not function well. You will not have autofocus or metering, so you have to use a meter and take extra time to set up each shot. There is a point where the camera manufacturers unable to maintain backwards compatibility. It's not really a good idea to choose a camera based on an agreement ephemeral old lenses. However, Nikon has a good DSLRs. The D90 is a popular choice because it has great features and supports a wide array of lenses. Good luck
