D3000 Nikon lenses and accessories?
So I'm completely in search of a fisheye lens. I do not want to buy something online, so I want to go some shops and find things. The thing is I do not know just stores that sell SLR. I will check out Best Buy and Ritz Camera later, but I want more places. I live in Michigan if it helps, and I just gave names to the shops and I will look up and see if there are any near me. If it comes down to it I will buy one online, so someone can give me any link to other goals fisheye eBay? I'm looking to spend under $ 100. Moreover, as a novice photographer what kind of accessories should I look for it? I have the D3000 and my goal is Nikkor 18-55mm. I was looking at UV and polarizing filters as well and I'm not sure I understand fully what they do, so it would be nice to have someone explain. Thank you!
Do not wait too long to get a UV on the front of your lens. Its true purpose is to protect the front lens element. This is what I did for my 24 to 85 mm lens for a shoot. Rent one and see if you like and decide then. The so called "fisheye" add-on lenses are not the fisheye lens of truth. A fisheye lens covers 180 degrees, so be careful you do not have the feet in the shot.
