Nikon Cameras Do the G-series lenses work with the camera body 60-D?
I'm looking for a Nikkor lens that says its G series, but not I can find anywhere that is compatible with my D-60
For autofocus to work, you need to buy Nikon clearly labeled AF-S or AF-I, or third party lenses with internal focusing motor. Nikon D vs G dialed is not really relevant. D lenses have an aperture ring and G lenses. This doens't mean nothing about the capabilities of the autofocus lens on a D60 though. (There are some D lenses are also AF-S, for example. The 28-70mm f / 2.8, and there a lot are G lenses are not AF-S.) If you do not mind manual focus, you can use any Nikon AF lens. And if you do not mind the exposure calculation yourself, you You can use any almost any Nikon lens made since 1959.
