Better for the body launches D300S for photography in general?
I have the intention to leave a Nikon D300, but was confused when I hear that I have the AF motor in the body. For general I prefer to use Nikkor 18-200mm cast as my one and only launches kit. Now the problem is that both of my choice has AF motor the body so I think it's a waste of money. So if anyone can suggest me to set D300s have no AF motor inside, but have a focal length of 18-200mm thanks to vary completely.
The lens 18-200mm VR or VR2 are very, very good, and give no trouble because of having internal motors. They are totally compatible with any nikon digital slr (well, in the context of full D3, D3x and D700, which is located by default in a low resolution image, but otherwise will work well.) And with internal motors means that these lenses (AF-S) will focus faster and quieter than other goals, so that is not lost no money at all. You would be hard to find any other purpose that will match the quality. Since you need this particular focal length, grab one of them. Reality virtual should be cheaper now that the VR2 is out, so you can save some money. You can, of course, save money by getting a cheap as body a D5000 and all the quality of the image. Depending on the features you want, but I'd recommend keeping a body with a motor in the body, so also can be used with other lenses AF-free in case of need always arise. A D90 will do everything you want, almost:)
